waterproof and longlasting on strips???

Postby julia » Tue Jan 15, 2008 9:02 am

Hi everyone!

I have a question.

Which adhesive should I use for my eyelash strips if I want the eyelashes to survive showers and baths and also be longlasting.
Is LASH beLONG BLACK Semi-Permanent Medical Grade Adhesive any good??? Or should I use something else???

Please help!

I can tell you from experience that strip eyelashes will not stay on through baths or showers no matter what brand of eyelash glue yo use. The slight waterproof hold from strip eyelash glue comes from the latex part of the ingredient. Latex is capable of repel some moisture but not being submersed in water. Even if the lash strip will hold up, the hairs from the false eyelashes will bend out of shape.

As far as I knowLASH beLONG BLACK Semi-Permanent Medical Grade Adhesive is for individual lashes. I heard this adhesive hold up the lashes pretty good but this adhesive will not work for strip eyelashes.

Try Sherani adhesive. It is the best and most lasting lash glue I have ever used. I have allergies and watery eyes and the stuff sticks no matter what. I spoke to Madame Madeline rep and was told Sherani adhesive will be back in stock this April.
