I'm a stage actress. Sherani is BEST. Much better than Duo which comes loose whenever my eyes tear.

Hi Caduchi,

Can you tell me a little bit more about Everlast adhesive? How is the hold? Do you use it with strip or individual lashes?

Any comment is appreciated.

Best regards =) Grace @MM

I'm used to using the Sherani adhesive but this last bottle had big clumps in it.
I was thinking of using the Everlast but not sure I'd like it.???

Sherani - Question about Formaldehyde

Postby Im Allergic » Sun Jul 01, 2007 2:53 pm

I love false eyelashes, but I have been unable to wear them as my eyelids would swell up and get inflamed. I've since learned that I am allergic to formaldehyde (formalin, etc.). Formaldehyde and its kin are in the other lash adhesives (I've tried them all with same lousy reaction). I do not see formaldehyde listed in Sherani - can anyone give me some insight as to whether this adhesive is safe to use? Thanks!

Try to finde Non Latex glues, they are usually clear, not white.

I am not so sure where to finde it :cray: , but the thing that I am sure about, that som people tend to have allergy from latex in general  . And the common eyelashes glues are latex based, there are som Non-Latex Eyelashes Glues som where.I dont think it is available here on Madame Madeline :banghead: ,but send them E-mail and ask them.

Hehe guess I am out of luck. I have since switched over to Revlon's Self-Adhesive Lashes #500 since I cant' wear my Ardell #110s anymore. Damn that latex...

I found Sherani adhesive to be the worst ever. It simply did not work - the lashes did not stay on AT ALL. Total waste of money.

If you want a glue that works, try DUO. I am a dancer and I sweat like crazy, but my lashes stay on. I've tried them all but DUO is the best, hands down. That is, as long as you're not allergic to it.

Sherani had a problem with the adhesive glopping last year. This result i premature falling off of the adhesive. Sherani has since reformulated the adhesive and this new batch of adhesive has received the same excellent feedbacks it has for years. Sherani adhesive is very temperature sensitive so it needs to be kept at room temperature. This adhesive can not be exposed to heat and cold. If the adhesive is kept at room temperature, there should not be any problem with them.
