lashes mishap

Postby Sonya » Thu Aug 17, 2006 11:09 pm

I recently had false lashes applied two days ago for a formal. However, I hate them. [-X I wanted something less dramatic and more natural. The problem is the artist positioned the lashes under my lash line. #-o How can I take them off? [-o<

Dear Sonya,

We carry Lashfree remover which is designed to dissolve the lash adhesive.
You can also use cotton swabs with baby oil to remove the lashes. Gently message the cotton swap above and below the lashes back and forth a few times. Next, letting the baby oil or remover sit for 10 minutes, and the lashes could come right off. Washing the area with a mild soap and rinse with lukewarm water will also help remove the dried adhesives.

If you do not have baby oil or lashfree remover, you can simply remove the lashes with your fingers. To remove your false eyelashes, simply peel the false eyelashes away from the inside edge outwards. Do this slowly until the strip comes off. It is normal to find a few of your natural lashes come off. Finish off the area with a mild soap and rinse with lukewarm water to remove any remaining dried adhesives.
