There are conflicting views on whether it is okay to wash or soak the false lashes. The correct answer is YES AND NO. There are basically two main types strip eyelashes on the market. There are the false lashes made with human hair and there are those made with synthetic fiber (plastic fiber). You can not wash or soak your fake (human hair) lashes as they will quickly loose shape. But you can definitely wash false lashes made with synthetic fiber. These lashes are water resistant through they are a bit shiny and fake looking compare to human hair false lashes.

I am wondering if you can let your falsies soak in a liquid makeup remover to remove the mascara? Wiping the mascara off seems to ruin the shape of the lashes.

Thank you.

Strip eyelashes can be reused more than once if you keep them clean and dry. Cleaning up after removing the false eyelashes shouldn't be too messy when applied correctly. For easy removal, you should apply the glue to the false lash strip first and lower the strip to your lash line. This way you can control the amount of glue you put on the strip. You can touch up the strip (make sure the adhesive does not touch the lashes) with additional glue if necessary. When the adhesive is dried, then apply liquid liner last.

When you apply the lashes this way, when removing the strip at the end of the day, there shouldn't be too much mess or dried adhesive on the strip. You can pick off (pinch off) any remaining dried adhesive on the strip with your finger. If there are still residue, hold the lashes and pull off the residue off pair of tweezers. Alternatively, you can take a safety pin to poke the residue off. The safety pin and tweezers method is very effective.

Happy lashing,

This is what most of people do,they apply mascara and liquid eyeliner after false lashes, atleast me.I dont clean them, because I dont wear them more than once,so I cant give an a nswer to that. But they are washable, try yourself and decide.Use baby shampoo and rub them and rince, maybe it will work.

On some false lashes boxes, and also in some places here on Madame Madeline, it says that most of the lashes can be used again :this: .Specially that they are made of real hair, and maybe that means it is can be washed and curled, and used again and again  .I have tried that before long time, but not any more.I am using them now just once, and dispose the used one immidiatly  .I love the feeling of the new pair :yahoo: ,in my opinion,it looks its best when it is new.But honestly,it dosnt mean it is not good to use them again, actually it looks so profecional when you return your used pair to its tray, for the next use
Thanks
God Bless you :amen:

False eyelashes are reusable. When I was a lash newbie, my false lashes get out of shape when I put them on for only two or three times and I always ruin them since I didn't know what I was doing. Have been a faithful lash wearer for 4 years now. Each pair typically last me 5 to 8 days for me. I like to take my falsies off everynight to clean and shape them. Some people keep them on 24-7 but I really don't know how long that will last. I have never tried it. Few times, I slept with my falsies on and woke up horrified  The lashes were bent out of shape in every angle you can think off. Yvone

Hi, I have never used fake lashes before. Can you use the same pair more than once, or do you need to buy a new pair every day?
